When did you first become interested in code and programming?

I love math a lot which helped me to develop the habit to solve puzzles. I became interested in coding during my college days. I worked on C, C++ and Java at that time. I was directionless, then, but I fell in love with coding.

How did you come across WordPress?

I did not get any placement during and after college because most companies in India look for academic qualifications rather than passion and practical knowledge. Luckily, while I was job searching, I got a chance to meet an awesome WordPress guy in India called Mayank Gupta. He was the first WordCamp organizer in India and he introduced me to WordPress and helped me learn it.

What inspires you about Open Source?

I love solving real-life problems with code. Work for open source projects helps me learn new things and brings me joy.

What problem was the most difficult to solve?

Everyone faces a problem which is difficult to solve, but from my experience, I can say that your attitude and approach make problems difficult to solve, so be cool.

What do you hope to accomplish this year?

There are several areas on which we can work to make the Give plugin better. I want to keep digging to make our Give plugin even more robust.

What are your favorite non-screen hobbies?

I love cooking food and gardening.

What is your favorite book or movie?

I do not have a reading habit, but I like watching movies. My favorite movie list is too long for this blog post.
