You can insert your Yellow Pages Reviews Pro widget anywhere on your site you want by using the built-in shortcode. The following examples and attributes show you how you can control the behavior of your widget using the shortcode.

ID Required
This is the only required attribute for the shortcode to work. This is your Business ID. You can retrieve it by following the instructions here. All the other attributes have default values that will be applied if they are not provided.

align
Default: None
This setting allows you to “float” the widget to the right, left, center, or none. This works exactly as aligning images does. If you set it to “left” or “right” then the other text on your page will wrap around it. If you set it to “none”, then it will appear above your text centered with no text around it at all.

max_width
Default: 250px

This allows you to set the maximum width the widget will fill. This is useful when inserting the shortcode into a page of content. Setting it to “450px” means that if your content area is 750px wide, then your text has around 300px of space to wrap around the widget with. You can set it with percentages to fill the entire available width of an area as well.

You can set this to whatever you prefer, but their must be a value at the end, like “px” or “%” or “em”.

cache Pro Only
Default: None

This option allows you to control how long your ratings data is stored on your site. Setting this reduces the number of times the plugin has to retrieve the information from the yellowpages.com website. Setting this to none means that every time someone visits a page where the widget or shortcode is present, the plugin has to retrieve the information from the Yellow Pages website anew. Alternatively, if you receive a lot of reviews and want them to be updated more quickly, setting this to a lower value would be helpful. Caching your reviews allows your site to show the information more quickly. But it means that you’ll have to wait at least that amount of time until new reviews appear.
